Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is a key driver of national development. By creating new businesses and jobs, entrepreneurship promotes economic growth, provides access to goods and services, and improves the overall standard of living. Most entrepreneurs also make a positive impact on their communities and improve their well-being by catering to underserved areas and developing environment-friendly, less expensive and more functional products. In some countries, SMEs make up more than 90% of businesses and employ over 70% of the country’s workforce. Entrepreneurship, therefore, plays a critical role in reducing unemployment and poverty. Furthermore, by their capacity to innovate, develop new technologies, adapted business models and services entrepreneurs are central in a country or society capacity to achieve climate-resilient sustainable development. ILP teams provides entrepreneurs, especially women and youth, with training, methods & tools, coaching and networking throughout the enterprise creation cycle (ideation, Concepting, Commitment, Validation, Scaling and Establishing).
